Cards, cards, cards!

Craig has kept every single card I've ever made him and given to him. He's very particular about keeping them in order, too. They are all tucked neatly inside the night stand up at the cabin. I snapped pictures of all of them this past weekend. So let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

This is the first card I ever made Craig and actually one of the first cards I ever made. My crazy Oklahoma City roommate went to a class and this was one of the cards they made at the class. True to my form, I changed it from the original and added all the orange you see and a few other details. The ribbon says "you are my sunshine." Awwwwwww!

Well, Craig's a fix-it type of guy, and I thought it deserved a card! Notice the orange paper in the pocket. I wrote a Bible verse on the paper and folded it up. The funny this is that Craig didn't notice it until I pointed it out to him months later. I should have probably chosen a different color paper! While the above card took way too long (because I had to think of an idea). The below card took all of two minutes.Graduation deserves a card, right?!?As you know, Craig and I kept a long distant relationship for the majority of our relationship. This prompted "miss you" cards. A few of these have neat insides but you'll just have to take my word for it. I now take pictures of cards before I send them. Seeing as these were snapped after I sent them and after I wrote in them, we'll leave the insides as a mystery :-)
I love the Superman paper below. I got a couple of sheets years back and have used the paper sparingly! This card is 3-D, but the picture doesn't show it well. Our relationship also provoked "love" cards. Yes, these are cheesy, but I love them! ha ha ha!

I am proud of this one below because the card is actually the envelope and I made it. Once again, that'll be a mystery since I had written a love note inside...

This is the one I gave to Craig when he left Texas after his six month job rotation in Waxahachie. As you can see, I was using up my letters...Inside....For our Valentine's Day together as an engaged couple...Just a random "I love you." This is also a card within an envelope thing.I cheated on this one...it's totally simple, but I didn't have much time to make the card. It says "love" all the way around the heart.
So that's it! I enjoyed my trip down memory lane. I have to say that my favorite is the black Valentine's Day card...I really like the shiny hearts and it's simple. Took quite a while to cut out all those boxes though... Which one is your favorite?
