Where have I been, you ask?

Well, busy. That and I didn't have anything quite post-worthy :-)

Lots of changes going on right now and the biggest is that we will be moving shortly before Christmas. The timing isn't perfect, but it's what we're going to do. Our tiny apartment seems to be getting tinier and tinier, especially since I work from home. The reality is I need a bigger space to work from home more effectively. I also need a bigger desk, a much bigger desk. We're moving up...sort of. It will still be in an apartment, in the same apartment complex, but it'll be bigger. Lots of decisions weighed in to contribute to the fact that we're not going to buy a home, but I won't bore you with the details.

I am really excited about the extra closets and larger pantry. Of course, I'll love the new office space, but truth be told, I am REALLY excited about the closets! We'll also have a secluded balcony versus a shared deck, which means the cats will love being able to go outside.

So, as of December 19, we'll have a new address. My darling husband will be completing the move all on his own. I will already be in Texas for Christmas. Everything will be packed, so I'll help out there, but he'll be pulling most of the weight. So, along with Christmas shopping, I'll be packing and packing and packing. I'll need to have all of his family Christmas shopping finished before the 19th since we'll be celebrating with them immediately after flying back to Georgia. I'm gonna wait to do my family shopping until I actually fly home, simply because I don't want to have to fly with or ship gifts. It'll be crazy, yes, but I am looking forward to it.

So, for those keeping track, I've moved a total of nine times in the past six years That's six cities and four states.

But hey, who is counting? (besides me)
