Anything is fair game...

It's always a construction zone at the cabin. Something is always being torn up, replaced or repaired. The current project is a laundry room. I know it doesn't sound exciting, but it is to me!!! The sad part is we are losing one of our only closets to make the laundry room. The great part is that I won't have to carry our dirty clothes, towels and sheets back and forth. Craig is widening the doorway because the original opening was 28 inches. That's a tad too small to move a washer and dryer into. So, he tore down the drywall, moved the studs over, and we bought a new door.

I want to warn you before you go any further. I told Craig I was taking these pictures and he said it would be funny. I say, if he let me snap it, it's fair game to post on the blog. Don't worry, my blog is still PG. Sort of.

Let me point out a few things.

- Ladder? Check.
- Power tools? Check.
- Tool belt? Check.
- Nails on the ground? Check.
- Sheet rock torn up? Check.
- Shoes? Nope.
- Pants? Nope.
Yes folks, that's my husband showing some leg. For the life of me, I cannot get him to wear proper footwear while working on cabin projects. Remember these awful slippers he wore while laying the wooden floor?I would like to point out the detail on his tool belt. He specifically showed me where everything should go. Funny, I always thought tool belts were supposed to go on the outside of pants! And yes, if you haven't already noticed, he is working on the doorway opening in his skivvies. If they had been any color other than black, I would not have posted these pictures.
Craig also warns me, anytime I go near the construction zone, to "watch out for the nails!" Ironically, I am usually wearing shoes.

Maybe the next time I post a cabin project, Craig will be wearing the appropriate attire. If not, you'll definitely find out!
