Did you know?

That you don't need a Sam's card to purchase anything from the pharmacy? Or from the optometry department? Or alcohol?

I found out this week when I went to pick out my glasses. My insurance was limited to pretty much Sam's and Wal-Mart for actual glasses/contacts. I found a frame that I loved from Wal-Mart, but it was blue. And another that was purple. Sheesh. I'd maybe buy a colored frame for a second set of glasses, but not my primary. I headed to Sam's and gave the line, "I just want to check the store out," and then headed towards optometry. I mentioned something to the tech that I would purchase a membership if I found a set that I liked. And then he gave me the wonderful news that I didn't have to purchase a membership. Craig and I are already members of Costco, so we didn't want to pay for another similar membership. Besides, Costco is so much closer to us than Sam's.
