Happy scary Christmas!

I thought that title would intrigue you!

Friday night was Craig's work party and part of the fun was a white elephant exchange. Now, I will tell you that I was disappointed. I went out and found the most tragic and fabulous gift. My interpretation of white elephant is just that - horribly fantastic! We were given ground rules. No re-gift (what?!?) and no more than $10 (hu? that's a REAL gift, to me at least). People brought actual gifts. Sheesh. There was only one other white elephant gift - a leopard print Mickey Mouse hat. It was pretty bad. We ended up with a DVD. If the DVD was of Suzanne Somers and her thigh master, or a bad foreign film, then I would say it could qualify as an appropriate white elephant gift. Nope - it was a Christmas film and fun.

Well, Thursday night I went on a hunt and found this...creature, elf, angel, thing.
Now for the details.

Note:
The wings. Sparkly. THE TONGUE! The outfit - thrown together pieces of material. Fringe. Ribbon. Thread bottom. Felt. Weird shoes. He's completely bendable and can be positioned in so many ways. I chose to cross his legs. Oh, just take it in. Enlarge the pic to see the detail.
Yes, I know the ear was broken, but I could not resist and there was not another one. And I didn't care!

For the record, the guy that got this elfin creature showed it to his dog and the dog got scared. ha ha ha! But also for the record, this kind of scared me too.
