All I can say is that our next kid better be a boy. We already have a name for a boy. Why is it that you always seem to agree on the opposite gender name???
It was never our intention to keep the name from anyone, it's not our style. Have you seen the ticker though? 19 days?!? We may end up keeping the name from you because we are keeping it from ourselves, too.
BUT...
...This week proved fruitful in the name game. Madeline Brooke is a possibility. But I'm not going to run out and embroider that name on anything just quite yet. This is the closest we've come to agreeing on a name though. It feels good. I keep asking her if her name is Madeline, but she doesn't respond, so I don't know.
One of the reasons we have had such a difficult time agreeing on a name is because Craig had his own set of criteria. The biggest was that the name had to have the option of being shortened. He would call her Mady (or however we decide to spell it). I told him he could also call her Lynn.
We also couldn't agree because I like less common names and Craig likes traditional names like Sarah, Mary, etc. Right now, my flavors of the month are Aurora and Scarlett. I told you about Scarlett, but Aurora is so pretty that I fell in love with it. Plus, it's Sleeping Beauty's name.
I'll keep asking her if her name is Madeline...

that's beautiful. I love baby names. I love babies!!! I can't wait to meet yours! :)
We're stuck on our boy's name. You could also do the yell test-pretend your kid is across the street doing something naughty. Yell the name. Like you mean it this time...does it work?
For this reason I like Scarlett. "SCARLETT KUNARD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?" :)
