Two years ago

I was in labor.

I was feeling great and the anticipation of seeing Madeline is something I will never forget. 

I didn't know that my labor would extend through the night and into the morning hours. I'm glad I didn't. :-)

I also didn't know how much my heart could be opened. Two years later, it's continuing to open even more. This motherhood journey is really difficult, but really fabulous at the same time.
