Happy graduation!

Katie has graduated from high school. This is what she looked like the day of my graduation.
And to commemorate her graduation, we took a new picture in front of the same door. If you ask me, she looks the same, only taller and cuter! The ceremony was rather quick, thank goodness, since I only attended to see her walk across the stage to accept her diploma. Before the ceremony, I gave Katie three inflatable balls and two "pool pets." The hope was that she could sneak in the contraband and have them tossed among the crowd during the ceremony. She was successful and I am proud to say that all contraband was brought into the graduation by the innocent looking Katie. Ha ha!

It's too bad that Katie's name in the program and her diploma were incorrect...she will affectionately be known to have a middle name of Cordeli from now on. She is getting a reprinted diploma mailed to her...Now she'll have two!

I had to create a "card" for Katie...it ended up taking a life of its own and I don't think it can be called a card. Just check it out for yourself. Believe it or not, it folds neatly into a 7 inch by 7 inch square.
The blank spaces in the middle are for her to add actual graduation photos.
At any rate, I am so excited for Katie as she starts college in the fall. Here's to Katie - the last of us kids to graduate from high school! Yeah!

How sneaky of you! We saw the beach balls and I would have never suspected it was your sister, much less you who gave them to her!!!

ha ha ha! Katie said she had to take multiple trips into the ceremony but that she mastered sneaking them in. All she had to do was to look "cute and innocent" and the teachers let her pass!
