Craig is lucky.
He had a once-in-a-lifetime moment the other night while relaxing with some of the guys and playing poker.
Texas Hold 'Em is the preferred game for them. Craig was dealt an ace and jack of diamonds - not a bad start. The first three cards on the flop: king, queen and ten of diamonds. He didn't even need to river cards to complete his hand. I don't know what was going through his head at the time, but it was probably sheer disbelief. A royal flush, not just any straight flush - no, he got the hand of all hands, the unbeatable of all hands. A ROYAL FLUSH! Not only that, he got it on the flop so he could bet up the field knowing he'd take the pot!
What are the odds? Well, some quick Google searching told me that the odds are approximately 1 in 650,000. I'm pretty sure that casino dealers might not even see that hand in their lifetime.
Craig's friends were so impressed with the hand that they started taking pictures.
I think Craig should buy a lottery card this weekend...just in case his luck hasn't run out!

Were they actually playing for money? I'll have to tell Raymond. He won 150 playing a Texas Hold 'em tournament at a bachelor party last weekend.
Yes, they were playing for money, but the buy in was $20, so the pot was not that much.
