It's really unfair to say that I am tired from the move. What I did lift was very, very light and I was not allowed to lift all that much. Craig was a work horse and busted his tail getting us moved over. Because we lost our weekend to move and our friends that could help us over the weekend, Craig and another friend moved everything over themselves. Craig pulled extra duty and bear hugged several heavy items by himself. He must have moved over four to five truck and trailer loads with little or no assistance. My little sister flew in the day we ended up closing and worked her tail off, too. She cleaned, packed and moved boxes right alongside Craig. We were supposed to be moved in by the time she got here, but that obviously didn't happen. Things happen. Life happens. And I am incredibly grateful for all the work Craig, Katie and Berger did to get us moved in. I felt useless and really wanted to do more.
There is still one last problem we have though. The box springs will not fit upstairs. The lovely bend in the stairs and angular ceiling design prohibit it making it upstairs. At first it was comical, but now we are really wondering how we are going to get the box springs up the stairs! There are two designs for this town house community. One has a vaulted ceiling in the foyer/stairs and the other does not.

While Craig and Katie attempted for the 47th time to get the box springs up the stairs, I grabbed my camera. I only got two pictures taken before the box springs got stuck and they needed my help.

One last picture for you all. The cats were obviously curious as we tore up the apartment. Curiosity got the best of them and they found a new and improved place to perch. And yes, this is the top of said box springs. They loved it up there. That is also a picture of our bedroom set that I promised to post back in January. I will someday...but we need to get our stuff in order.

PIV-OT! PIV-OT!
Believe me, if we could negotiate that awkward kitchen door to the front of the house in Waco, there's a way to get those boxsprings up the stars!
