It may not look like much to you

But it means a lot to me.
It's a basket of laundry, clean, folded and ready to put away.

For a few months now, I have been too exhausted to actually fold the laundry. I either pull out clean clothes from the dryer, or from a pile. Yes, it's true. Please tell me I'm not the only one! This particular load is Madeline's clothes and the reason they were not put away is because she was asleep.

Asleep.

Last night, she went to bed at 8:30 pm. A miraculous achievement for our little baby. She actually went down and stayed down until around 4 am. So, Craig and I actually got some stuff done around the house.

She usually goes down between 10:30 pm - ???. She's a night owl. An insomniac. And it has worn me out.

She may not repeat the behavior or go down easily tonight, or tomorrow night. But it's OK.

Because last night, I got to fold laundry.

You are not alone! I haven't folded Elsie's clothes in over a month. They are in a basket. Or in the dryer. And we pull from either. Just like you.

I'm proud of you! And of the little one for letting you get some catching up done!

The only reason our laundry pile got folded this week was because Mason needed a bed to sleep on... and it actually did not get folded until Friday night when he was at the house.
