I've invested quite a bit on my stash and I realize that there are more blue diapers than pink. I actually only bought two pink cloth diapers, but one of them is a Mommy's Touch (not pictured below) and while they say they are one size, they are huge on Madeline still and I can't put her in them yet. They just don't have the adjustability as the Bum Genius and FuzziBunz. I also ended up buying five white diapers because I figured I should have some white...but most are fabulous colors. I only have all in ones - they are super friendly to dad and anyone else who will change her diaper. My total count is actually 35. I am getting three more FuzziBunz for free in the mail since I spent so much with them. So far, it's working out. When she stops wetting her diapers so frequently, I will be able to stretch washing to every three days, but for now I am doing a load every two.

In other news, Madeline is THREE months old. I simply cannot believe it. Craig and I are continually amazed at how much she has grown and how much she is learning. Here's some funny and favorites on our little Madeline.
- She likes to gag herself. Well, she's actually trying to shove her entire fist in her mouth, and/or fingers. She will gag herself repeatedly with a digit and keep sucking away. Recently, on our trip to Texas, her Aunt Katie showed her that her pointer and middle fingers make for the best sucking. Katie sucked those two and decided to share that hint with Madeline. Ever since we returned to Georgia, little Miss has been chomping away on those two fingers.
- Licking. Oh my word, this girl likes to lick everything in sight. Along with the finger chewing, it's a favorite past time of hers. I either have spit up or slobber on my shoulders at all times.
- Rotating. She rotates in her crib. Sometimes, she will completely rotate 180 degrees. Other times, she'll rotate 90 degrees and wedge her head against the side of the crib. It's comical to say the least, but she usually doesn't think it's funny.
- Scratching her face. Man alive, you'd think this was her hobby or something. I cannot keep up with her nails and just when I think they won't scratch her face anymore, I see she's done it again.
- Everything is visual. She now has to see the world. No more cradle carrying her around the house. It's either over the shoulder or facing out. If she isn't facing the direction she wants, she'll contort her head in an awkward position for both her and the person who is carrying her.
- She's just not a sleeper. My daughter is an insomniac. She doesn't go down until 10:30 pm (that's the latest, but hey, it's better than midnight so I'll take it!) and if I try any earlier, it just does not work. She does take a rather long morning nap, so I know it's just an extension of her night sleep. I cannot wait until she pushes her bedtime to around 6-8. Any suggestions for a first time mom on how to accomplish this? Believe me, I've tried it all, but I'm open to your advice. She also doesn't really nap after 1 or so. She "power naps" in my opinion, getting 15-30 minutes here and there, so when she wakes up, she's happy again for a brief period of time, despite the fact that I know she's still tired.
- Smiles. Baby smiles are the best! It's so hard to capture her grin on camera though. She just gets so excited when she smiles or laughs, that her arms go up and cover her face. It's incredibly cute.
- She's a mama's girl. Pacifiers just won't do.
- Bath time is now fun. She can't contain her excitement and kicks like you wouldn't believe. I'm looking forward to her being able to sit in a tub so it's easier and so she can have a longer bath to play around in.
- She's also a big girl. 3-6 month clothing is quickly becoming too small. She is just so long that things don't fit her properly. In fact, her arms are too long for the sleeves, too!
- Stubborn as they come. She fights things that are good for her. Sleep and tummy time predominantly. Since she started flipping from belly to back, she only wants to be on her back. The problem is that she sometimes can't do it in a timely manner and that doesn't sit well with her. Other times she flips over immediately.
- She's growing hair! I, on the other hand, and leaving a hairball trail everywhere I go. It's completely disgusting.

In other news, my Granny is doing better. She will probably never walk again, but doctors do expect her to talk. She is much more responsive and is aware of the people around her. Please keep praying for her and my family. This week has been rough for us all, but we trust in the Lord's healing and provision! He is good!

Josh just saw this post and the pics and told me, "I love those Santa babies!!" :)
ADORBS!!!
and i am way impressed with yr cloth diaper use. plus they're just so colorful and cute!
We use cloth 100% too, except now while Micah is teething and has pooped every diaper for 3 days. His bottom is beyond repair, and though the disposable don't 'help' per se, they give mommy a little sanity with the loads of stink.
As she gets older, it gets easier and easier going out in public! :)
And email me and I will send you something on sleeping :)
