My nephew was born this evening. I'm a first-time aunt on my side of the family and I'm beyond elated. Ethan Edward was born via c-section and weighed in at 5 pounds 7 ounces. I just heard that Ethan was peeing everywhere when he came out, which is the most beautiful thing ever. Ethan has cysts on both of his kidneys and we'll know more information after they perform an ultrasound. We were told he'd be whisked away to the NICU, but he's resting in the nursery.
Kristina had a rough go with the labor and delivery, and she may need a blood transfusion, so please keep mama and baby in your prayers.
This is going to be a great year!
