Madeline's imagination is growing and her favorite thing right now is to be like Craig or me. If she sees something that we do/wear, she immediately wants to partake in the event/action, or at least let us know that what the object does/is used for. Shoes is probably the primary example. I leave my shoes around, and she always finds them and says, "mama's shoes" and tries to put them on. But recently, she is fascinated with my glasses. I purchased her some power tools so she can help daddy with projects around the house and in it were safety goggles. Thus, her glasses.
She'll periodically brings them to me now and asks to "put on." Poor thing can't keep them on since her head is too small and the toys are really geared for the 3-4 range, but she does try.
And please note her boots. She is becoming VERY opinionated about her footwear. haha.
Another thing she did recently that cracked me up, was to pull out her jumperoo, that was disassembled and underneath our bed (because we don't have room to store it elsewhere!) and proceed to sit in the seat. She has named this toy "pretty" for some reason. It is now assembled and she will sit in it and play. No matter that when she was actually in the age range for the toy that she didn't want a thing to do with it. I plan on disassembling it again soon because she doesn't need to be playing with it and is WAY too tall for it, but it's been a source of entertainment for her this past week.
She is certainly a source of entertainment and joy!

I just love the picture of Madeline at the top of the blog in her blue diaper. She looks like she is pitching a game and sizing up the batter.
