It's never fun to be sick. But being sick and pregnant is really no fun. Craig came down with something last weekend and by Wednesday night, my throat hurt. I didn't sleep well that night and by Thursday, I felt horrible. Today is no different. I am drinking lots and lots of water and trying to clear my nose with Simply Saline. He recovered in about four days, but I think I am going to take longer since I am limited on medication. Oh, how I miss my NyQuil and antihistamines! So, for now, I will cough, sneeze, blow my nose and repeat the process until I am better.
I just hope that I am feeling better by tomorrow because it's Craig's 35th birthday! I seriously had so much stuff planned, but I am thinking that we'll celebrate rather uneventfully. We do have BBQ plans with his sisters, so that should be fun.

I was reading that most pregnant women get stuffy noses anyway due to the increase in blood flow to the mucus membranes (I think I am remembering that correctly). So I am sure that is not helping. My nose has been so stuffy that I have to wake up in the middle of the night to blow it.
