Exhibit A.

Exhibit B.

She has taken to eating her crib. Usually, she gravitates to the sides of the crib. The back is solid so she can't bite down anywhere and the front has a somewhat rounded top edge so she can't get her mouth around it easily. The sides it is, but there are many, many scratch marks on the front. One night she got fussy and I thought she had put herself back to sleep. I look in the monitor to discover she was standing up, but didn't appear to be moving and she was silent. I honestly thought she may have fallen asleep standing up, which is an accident waiting to happen, so I went in there to attempt to lay her down. As I walk in, she takes a break from gnawing the crib and obviously wants to be picked up. Seriously. She woke up and thought it was a good idea to eat her crib instead of sleeping.
It's amazing what four little teeth can do!

Yeah. All babies tend to chew on their cribs at some time or another. I don't remember any of you kids doing that. Kristina's crib was a used crib and it came with chew marks. Some kids get creative. They take paperclips, bend them open and etch stars in furniture, walls, woodwork. Or toothbrush handles and scrape the paint off of recently painted door frames. Chewing on the crib doesn't sound quite so bad after all.
I was just shown there is a crib guard you can get at babies r us.. I am not sure where else they may sell it but I have heard several friends tell me to register for it :) Hopefully she won't continue it to long.
