I had another appointment this morning and Craig and I headed to see a midwife this time. The practice I chose has both midwives and doctors and I wanted to be able to choose between the two who would deliver me. I've seen a doctor two times now and both times were rushed. I gave a midwife a try and didn't feel rushed. Craig and I asked our fill of questions. Craig didn't really like the midwife I saw today, but I was neutral. There are three more midwifes in the rotation and I will visit them all. I can't choose who will deliver me seeing as birth isn't something you can plan unless you get induced, which I don't want to do, so I need to see all the midwives over the next five months.
Not much to update on the little baby except that the heart rate was normal. It fluctuated between 140-150, and that's healthy, so I am happy. The next appointment will be the big reveal and we'll find out what we're having! Anyone want to wager a guess?
All-in-all, the three of us are great!

I'm going to say girl. No, boy. No, girl. Oh, it's just too hard to commit one way or the other.

Can't wait to find out! Not sure if I'm getting a 'vibe' for you....I had strong boy vibes with B and J, but I was too afraid to commit to those vibes! lol I saw midwives for most of B's pregnancy, and I loved them way more than the docs....they were actually active duty midwives! I'm still trying to get M to agree to "let me go" for a weekend visit!
Girl!!! Which means you'll probably have a boy. cuz I've never been right.
I guess girl!! :) Well, wait, Boy :) Micah was in the 140s, Cara in the 160s....but you'll have so much fun either way!! :) And way to go, I wish there was a closer mid-wife/dr practice to us...there's ONE in all of Houston in the med center...a bit far from katy!
