It appears that most of my friends don't enjoy springing forward, especially those with kids who associate sleeping with darkness. I have also been warned by those same friends to just wait until my kids are affected by the changing time every spring and fall. I love the extra hour in the sun, so I hope my kids will, too.
While I don't enjoy losing the hour of sleep, especially when I have to sing at church like I did yesterday, the payoff is worth the temporary jet-lagged feel. In fact, last night I went to bed early, which apparently made me more restless than I have been in a long time. I woke up every hour and a half the entire night. It's OK though, because the sun shines longer!
More sun = being able to walk on the Silver Comet Trail later!
More sun = more time to go shopping/run errands after work without getting back home in complete darkness!
More sun = more energy!
More sun = planting a garden...tomatoes and other fresh veggies!
Yes, I love springing forward!

For me more sun=extra time in the evening to walk my dog.
I do too. My kids go to bed at the same time (black out curtains were invented for a reason), yet sleep an hour to an hour and a half longer!! Yea for DST!
