No, I still can't brush my teeth without gagging and all my pregnancy ailments are still active (in addition to a few others now).
But...
I have reached the end of my first trimester! I believe today marks the first day of my second trimester and I am excited about it! It does seem that this past week I have regressed a bit in the way I've been feeling, but that's OK. This too will pass.
I began taking belly shots at 12 weeks and I plan on taking shots at weekly intervals. I hope to wear the same clothing in each shot, so I am wearing pregnancy pants for the pictures. I'll post the pictures later and show a progression. For some reason, I grew this week. My one pair of jeans that I could still fit into were tight to button last night, but I could button them. It appears it won't be long now. From what I've read, most women "pop" in their 14th week so I wonder if I "popped" a little sooner. The books are just a guide after all and each pregnancy is different.
Happy second trimester!

the gagging while brushing thing lingered for a few months or weeks after each pregnancy. good times. that and the hair loss were the most annoying post-partum issues for me. oh, and the lack of sleep...except that starts before the baby is born because you wake up 836 times each night in such discomfort. can't sleep on you back comfortably...can't sleep on your side with your hip screaming at you...on you tummy...well, that's out too! :) i think i felt my best between weeks 18-29 or so.
Is it weird that when you said you were taking belly shots that I first thought you were giving yourself shots in the belly, and then that you were drinking shots off your belly? Where is my mind?
don't worry, katie, i thought the same thing!
For a second, I thought "Katie" was my little sister and was wondering where her innocent mind was! HA HA! I guess I could have been a little more specific with my wording :-)
