It's almost a guarantee that parents around my city are taking their little ones outside to play in the snow. Or get that obligatory first snow picture.
I am no different.

Despite the fact that I don't care for snow, I bundled Madeline up and took her outside.

She really didn't know what to do and barely moved. But that may have been because she couldn't move since I layered her with so many jackets. She has two layers on her head, four on her chest, two on her hands, three on her legs and three on her feet. I bet she felt like Randy.

The snow is now falling harder outside and there is no evidence that we even have grass. Or even a driveway.

In the end, I got a half smile out of our little lady.

I then promptly picked her up and went inside where it was nice and warm. I'll stay here until the snow disappears.

Aah. The Bumbo. I wanted to take a picture of Elsie in the snow, but I thought to myself, she can't stand up on her own, what do I do? And because my brain is not in gear, I didn't even think of the Bumbo which is sitting, oh, about four feet from our front door. D'oh. I hope that snow is there tomorrow (just for pictures--then it can melt).
