Well, we're actually just lowering the crib mattress so she can't fall out. It was on the highest setting still, so if she pulled herself up, the rail would be around the middle of her belly, so she could easily topple out. Now, if she pulls herself up, the rail is around her shoulders. I'm sure we'll need to lower it again sometime soon.

I'm SO not ready for Ellie to start trying that yet... I'm enjoying having only one mobile kid for the time being! ;)
so why the lower crib? Is it so if she falls out there's a shorter distance to the floor? enlighten, pleashe
