Roaches abound

Ugh. Our apartment complex has new tenets with six legs and large families. Now that the weather has warmed up, the roaches have surfaced and the outside of the complex is littered with creepy-crawlers. Which, I know means the roaches have ventured inside but they hide in the walls. Starsky and Hutch actually pay their keep and we do see carcasses once and a while due to their hunting abilities. When we moved in a year ago the water pipes burst to our unit and that's when the roaches came above ground by the THOUSANDS. I am still not convinced the water pipe is fully functional because our water pressure is wishy-washy and the roaches certainly make their appearance during the twilight hours. I guess it's time to purchase some new roach traps in hopes of decreasing the roach population. Craig does his part by squishing as many as he can when he sees them...and rarely does he let any go away.

I will not miss the roaches when we finally leave this place.

Yucky. I can't even remember the last time I saw one. When we built our hose they put tubes in the walls so that the pest control people spray the pesticide right into the walls. We don't even have to be at home since they do it from outside.

Oh. MY.

I got the heebie geebies just reading your post! We had a roach problem once and the worst was when one landed on my face, on my MOUTH when I was sleeping. It woke me up! Ewwwwwwwww...

Our house has those tube things, though I've read reviews that say they're a waste of $ and don't work well. We've only been there a month so we don't know yet.
