Tomatoes!

So, Craig and I planted tomato plants a couple of months back and I don't know what steroids they are taking, but they are HUGE. Just look at the size of these plants.
We did plant them in manure potting soil and I feed them tomato food, so maybe that's contributing to the enormousness of the plants! You can't tell, and I really should take a picture of a person next to the plants to accurately show how tall they are. The one on the right is the big tomato plant and the one on the left is the cherry tomato plant. (Herbie is in the middle and I have had him since college - yes, I named my plant). The big tomato plant is more than six feet tall now and the cage is too small so the branches are growing out instead of up. Sheese! So far, we've gotten some pretty tasty fruit, but only from the cherry tomato plant, which has at least a few dozen growing tomatoes! We have a full-size tomato plant that is finally producing fruit, but none of it has ripened yet and there are about a dozen tomatoes growing at the moment. I had fun with my new camera and took some nifty pics (well, at least I think they are nifty!). The first one is my favorite.
